For the past three years, CAHS and Effect Dance Team has held their own version of Dancing with the Stars, letting teachers and non-dancing students collaborate with members of the team to create and perform original dance routines. Each year has continued in high esteem, and with some, high humor, and will surface again March 4.

How it works: Everyone on dance team has a partner, with a typical ratio of boy-to-girl. After each duality decides a theme for their dance, creativity erupts—“We … completely go all out and dress up and … have real judges,” senior and Dance Team captain Ally Rose said.

The second half of the show is a series of showcases, where “other people from outside of the school … can audition.”

This year’s showing is set to excite. “All of the dance team will be competing with partners,” Rose continued. “My partner will be Sam Schuler; there’s … Kyle Best and … we have Max Burns so it’s just going to be fun jumble of people and it will be a good time.”

Mark your calendars for March 4. Dancing with the CAHS Stars is bound to impress.
