Outback police have arrested a 12-year-old boy who was almost a third of his way through driving solo across Australia. The unlicensed boy drove more than 800 miles from his home in Kendall; he was pulled over because his bumper was dragging on the road.

Wednesday

At Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, Johnny Depp appeared on the “Pirates of the Caribbean” ride dressed in character as Jack Sparrow. It is believed this appearance is a promo for”Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” which opens next month.

Thursday

South Korean media sources report North Korea detaining an American citizen after the citizen tried to leave the country. This American citizen becomes the third American detained by the North; one has been sentenced for spying, and the other has been accused of trying to steal a hotel sign.

Friday

Authorities in Waynesboro, VA are looking for a suspect who is taking cats, shaving the cats and then returning the cats to their owners. Seven cats have been shaven since December of 2016, and, while these cats seem unharmed (other than being shaved), they seem shaken-up.
