Tuesday

Samsung has no plans to scrap their Note phones altogether. Galaxy Note 8 phones will arrive in 2017 despite the issues with exploding Note 7s which were permanently discontinued earlier this month. Owners in South Korea can trade in their Note 7s to Note 8s.

Wednesday

Amelia Earheart was likely a castaway surviving a crash that killed her navigator Frederick Noonan. A skeleton matching her description was found on an island.

Thursday

Hillary Clinton has a 2 point lead over Trump in the latest poll by the Washington Post-ABC News Tracking poll. Clinton seems to have recovered somewhat from a fall in popularity after the FBI revealed that more emails related to her were under investigation.

Friday

The Paris climate change deal has been signed into law. So far, 96 United Nations countries, accounting for just over 2/3 of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions have joined. The Paris agreement seeks to limit global warming to two degrees Celsius, 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit.
