Tuesday

Dutch journalist Jeroen Perleman was shot in the chest by an ISIS sniper in Libya fatally. He was covering the front lines and got caught in the crossfire. He died immediately.
Wednesday

NASA has observed the Tabby Star dim and lighten over the years. Scientists at the California Institute of Technology have concluded that the star is slowly fading.
Thursday

A Southwest plane from Louisville, Kentucky, to Baltimore, Maryland, is evacuated after a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 starts smoking. Brian Green’s phone started making popping noises, and the plane sat at the gate until he powered it down. No one was injured, but the plane’s carpet suffered minor damage.

Four year old Noah Wall is getting his own TV documentary titled “The Boy Born Without a Brian” on October 12. He was born in Abbeytown, Cambria, with only 2 percent of his brain function. The documentary will follow his progress after an unlikely survival.
