Ryan Murphy, a producer of “American Horror Story: Cult” has decided to edit out the violent opening shooting scene — for the most part — of the newest episode out of respect for the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting. “My point of view on that was I believe I have the right to air it, but I also believe in victims’ rights,” said Murphy. Tensions between the U.S. and North Korea have been sky-high after repeated aggressive interactions between U.S. president Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. “Two U.S. Air Force B-1B bombers were joined by two F-15K fighters from the South Korean military after leaving their base in Guam”, flying over the Korean peninsula as a “show of force.” Read more here.

An American-Canadian family of five was freed from Afghanistan after being held hostage for five years. Each one of the three children — two boys and a girl — were born during that period of time. The family “have been essentially living in a hole” for the past five years. Read more here.
