An Australian family found a 132-year-old message in a bottle that was part of a German experiment about ocean currents in 1866. The discovery broke the previous record of oldest message in a bottle, which was 108 years. Read more here.

10 years ago, a South Asian girl’s risk of getting married as a child was about 50 percent, but now it is 30 percent.Globally, one of every five women is married before they turn 18 years old. A decade ago, the rate had been one of every four, UNICEF said on Tuesday.  Read more here.

After a Dick’s Sporting Goods in Oregon raised its minimum age to purchase a gun in their stores to 21 years old in the wake of the recent Florida school shooting, they are being sued by an irate 20-year-old.
